Eurotech is a global company with a strong international focus: born in the Northeast of Italy, it has operating locations in Europe, North America and Japan led and coordinated from the headquarters in Amaro.
Since its inception, the technological paradigm followed by Eurotech has been Pervasive Computing, which combines three key factors: the miniaturisation of computers, their spread in the real world, and their ability to network and communicate. Today, this paradigm has evolved towards what we call “Internet of Things”. The basic concept is that any smart object connected to the internet can potentially become an asset monitored via the web. But to enable that, there’s the need to move data from smart objects to business applications in the same way today we move goods between producers and consumers. This is why at Eurotech we were among the first in the world to create a machine-to-machine integration software platform to provide data logistics services.
As we continue foresighting the future, in our work we encapsulate a natural attention to the social dimension, so that digital technologies can contribute to create a sustainable planet.
We believe that a way to increase the adoption of sustainable technologies is to present them to potential users through a design that triggers an emotion and conveys a sense of usefulness. This is why we like to explore and support the hybridisation of digital technologies and esthetics, miniature computers and industrial design, computing power and user experience.
This is why we established this collaboration with ITS.
